What ever happened to hard work?
I was reading this story on espn.com and was shocked at how dumb some people are. I am assuming his action was to try and win the starting job. I think he didn't realize that his victim would be watching it happen (and most likely doing what he could to stop the attack) and he would face criminal charges. People can be so stupid.

jake, nice comment. but you touched on something else that is sort of my favorite part of the story. and that is where he stabbed the guy. he stabbed him in the leg. its like punching someone in the ear.
Yeah, but it was his kicking leg. 2 things worth mentioning:
1) It was University of Northern Colorado. Last time I checked, they're not a football powerhouse.
2) HE IS THE PUNTER. Is there not a more irrelevant job than a back-up punter at the University of Northern Colorado?
