the grass is always greener

i have very little tennis experience, but i have never seen anything like this. side note: in case you didnt know i think federer is sweet. mainly because of his total dominance on the court, but i think his awesomeness extends off the court. i cant find it online but there was an article about him in SI from early april (this is the best i could find.)

Sounds like a good use for $1.63 million.....I wouldn't have wanted to see that amount spent on ending world hunger.

eeeh...my wife.

that field reminds me of a few of the half turf/half grass baseball fields i've played on like Salisbury University, James Madison, and Maryland.

the best part is, you get your shoes all clayed up, but then it all comes off when you play on the grass. it's like a free shoe shine!

Is my husband implying that a one-time, dual surface field is an appropriate way to spend $1.63 big ones?

yeah, you're right. they should have donated that money to American Idol.

I believe they changed shoes between games when they were switching courts.

And then Federer autographed his shoes and gave them to starving kids in Africa. I don't know how that helped them eat, but it's a nice gesture.
